Update on a short blonde

Hello everyone! I've been dying over some of these posts/comments...especially Collin and Brady. I think you two were meant for the blogging world. I figured I should write my first post. You guys don't understand how weird it is being here all summer!

Ahh Keuka College. Drink it in, it always goes down smooth. It's unbelievable that over a month after graduation, I'm still here. I wake up groggy every day and drag myself into work, which surprisingly goes by pretty fast. Before I know it, it's 4:30 p.m. and I'm out the door. "What should I do today," I ask myself. The answer usually lies somewhere between Space Hall and Point Neamo, since realistically there is nothing else to do on this small campus of ours.

It's funny because the whole idea that we're gone and graduatated hasn't sunk in for me yet (as it might have with some of you). Not only am I in a position where I'm prepping for all the incoming freshman to arrive, I'm physically here, day in and day out, as if nothing has changed and that we'll all be reunited again in a few short weeks for class. I don't think it will hit me until I go home at the end of August and start at a new school (yikes!)

Let's see...I've been trying to find things to do in the area. The most I've done is the Wind Mill a few times, Garcia's in Geneva (Collin, didn't you tell me about that place?). I also went to the Branchport fireworks for the Fourth of July, which needless to say was a combination of white trash with no teeth and crack babies screaming that the fireworks were too loud. All in all, good holiday.

Well, I hope everyone is enjoying summer and we should all get together soon! :)

It's about time! Now, if we can only get those other lazy red sox fans to contribute, we'd be golden.
